What happens when one chart meets another?

The Dynamics is a bespoke synastry reading: an in-depth exploration of the astrology between two people.

Synastry is more than a collection of compatible and incompatible aspects. To understand what happens between two people, we first have to understand the people themselves. Your reading considers both natal charts before exploring the connections between them: where your needs meet, where they differ, what draws you together, what creates ease or tension, and the larger patterns that give the relationship its particular character.

The Dynamics can be used to explore romantic relationships, friendships, family relationships, or any other significant connection. Your intake form gives you space to tell me about the relationship and the questions or themes you would especially like me to consider.

Two people. One story.

Every relationship becomes something more than the two people within it. The Story explores that “something” through the composite chart: a symbolic chart created from two natal charts that allows us to consider the relationship as a whole. Essentially, the composite is the chart of your relationship.

We’ll explore the character of the relationship, its emotional landscape, its gifts and tensions, the themes that shape it, and the story the two of you can potentially create together. Because a composite chart does not exist independently of the people who create it, both natal charts are considered throughout the analysis, with individual and relational context brought in wherever it helps illuminate the larger story.

The Story can be used to explore romantic relationships, friendships, family relationships, or other significant bonds. It can also be used imaginally: your chart may be combined with the chart of a historical figure to explore the symbolic story that emerges between them.

This is an imaginative astrological exercise rather than a reading of a lived relationship. It is an invitation to place yourself in symbolic conversation with someone from another time.
